I have a vehicle that shifted fine until it had to down shift to reduce speed. Then after that it had problems, it wouldn't go past 40 mph. We checked the shift linkage, shift solenoids, checked the tranny fluid, made sure the folding valve solenoid engaged. Any ideas???

Try adjusting your Throttle Position Sensor.
